SSK is a knitting abbreviation of “Slip Slip Knit”. It is another decreasing stitch that is as common as K2tog (Knit two together). SSK is also as simple as it sounds. Slip 1 stitch, Slip another stitch, then knit those two stitches together through the back.
The difference between K2tog and SSK is how the stitches are slanted. K2tog is a right-slanted stitch and SSK is the left-slanted stitch.
How to

Following is a brief direction with some pictures.
1: Slip the first stitch knitwise: Insert the right needle into the 1st stitch on the left needle as if to knit. DO not knit, but slip the stitch off from the left needle and transfer onto the right needle.
2. Slip the second stitch knitwise. You have two slipped stitches on the right needle.
3. Transfer those 2 slipped stitches back to the left needle. Slipped stitches are now twisted.
4. Knit those two stitches together through back loop.
5. Done!
Two tips to make SSK neat
The direction provided above is the basic traditional way of making SSK stitch. But as you can see in the first picture, while K2tog looks really neat, SSK is not. It is rather bulky and not creating a straight line.
